Bejing Olympics: Lost in Translation (Part I)

No worries guys I'm not going into the troubles accompanying the world wide torch relay or the terrible air quality there. However I'm really tempted because a lot of happenings drive me crazy, especially when I read how China is trying to show the world that air quality is better then the evil Western media are constantly reporting.

They want to close most of the power plants, cement factories, construction work, etc. the most polluters obviously. Plus some car owners will also have to leave their vehicles at home ordered by the government! And all that should happen at least a month before the official opening to improve air quality. They are cheating again, as always, with fake goods, DVDs, poisoned toys, etc, etc, etc. TV cameras have to broadcast beautiful pictures to the viewers worldwide.............

Oh, see just got into the issues I wanted to stay out of. Sorry folks!

However some you guys might still want to go there. I just received a very funny email and I really want to share this with you. It's hilarious!
Check it out:

First rule: don't smile........... or at least not in public

......and if you're dead, please get to a hospital...

A difficult meal...

For children from other countries its OK...

I think it was that "screw you" comment...

Start with the big toe...

Well, it is free...

That would explain the beer cubs outside...

Flavor with heart...

Falling should be planned...

I told grandma to use protection...

Plenty of meat for everybody...

Got too many kids?

To be continued.............

  1. Somebody must have been really so bored or at his wit's end for any gossip topics.

It makes one wonder that if the author could ever even pick up any Chinese character at all? Soft reminder: when one points one finger at others, remember the other four fingers point back at himself. It does not show if the presented content is good or bad just because there is still space for improvements. It does show though, that the character or standard of the person who presented other's mistakes. I just don't understand why you can't even understand English words.

It is a bit funny even titled as Beijing Olympics. The way this topic and content was presented is really childish and narrow minded. It is a shame. I used to like this site.

I thought a person who makes an effort to supply good food for others should have a big heart and loving heart, because it will really go together into the customers' stomach and heart. There is no love or kindness shown in this entry.I guess and hope that you are not Mr.Erich himself.

However, you are forgiven, at least from me.

    2. I'm not ashamed but you should be making comments and hiding behind anonymity.
    3. Shows once more not how narrow minded I am, but most Asians and especially some Singaporeans, because no one is allowed to make jokes.
    4. By the way I receved this from a Chinese friend from Beijing.
    5. You are the only one so far who was offended, not so my mainly chinese friends they laughed heartily about it.
